October’s Glow: Parks to Go in Montreal

Montreal’s gardens are charming urban oases that offer a refreshing escape into nature. From the vibrant displays at the Jardin Botanique to the serene pathways of Parc La Fontaine and the scenic beauty along the Lachine Canal, these green spaces showcase stunning seasonal changes, especially in fall. Perfect for leisurely strolls, picnics, and photography, they provide a delightful blend of tranquility and community connection, celebrating the beauty of nature in the heart of the city.

October is literally the coolest month of the year in Montreal. The vibes are definitely spooky, making me feel as if I’m inside a Disney Channel Halloween movie—like Halloween Town, Hocus Pocus, or Twitches. The air is moist and cold, really filled with nostalgia. The sky is a bit grey, just enough to set the mood, while all the trees are dressed in yellow, orange, and red, and the ground is covered with their leaves.

October is like a cozy hug from Mother Nature.

It’s the time for all the good seasonal treats! Like warm apple cider, pumpkin spice everything, and the sweet joy of baking delicious goodies. As the days grow shorter, the nights become perfect for snuggling around bonfires and gazing up at twinkling stars on crisp evenings.

It’s a month full of warmth and wonder, where we celebrate the beauty of change and reflect on the moments that make life special. October is truly a magical time to embrace the little joys before winter’s chill sets in, making it a month we can’t help but adore.

And that’s why, totally I want to write about my favorite parks in Montreal that you MUST visit and appreciate it’s beautiful views and colours!
